Mélys joined Brock Media as Development Executive in February 2022, after working as Development Editor at Film4.

Before that, Mélys studied comparative literature and wanted to pursue an academic career, but she thought better of it and relocated permanently to London to work in film instead. She started her career at Working Title as production and TV development intern, before moving on to work at Blueprint as production assistant, and at RAW as development assistant.

Having grown up in the 90s-00s on a cocktail of old Nouvelle Vague classics, American blockbusters and iconic TV shows, Mélys is passionate about stories and their power to bring people together. She loves collaborating with writers, directors and storytellers across all media and formats to help them bring ideas and stories to life.
